Nowhere

Looking out over the field of a long forgotten battle where men died for the arrogance of a leader who led them into certain death in a wrong place at a wrong time for the wrong reasons I question my place, time and reasons. There is a beauty now in this place nourished by the bones of the fallen and the falling rain. Will there be anything left from my life to feed even a blade of grass. Does it even matter that I found truth on your lips and grace in your mind and beauty in your spirit. I am nowhere because I  live somewhere between truth and reality, living fully and fidelity, past and the future. So I choose not to fight but to fly like a feather in the winds of change and fall to the earth somewhere far from nowhere.
