Spiral

I can't tell if I am spiraling up or down the staircase. Being an optimist I think up but being a Libra I'm still deciding. I stand here watching you strip the feelings from your mind feeding my trust and faith in you as you rip mine from me. We tickle each others mind, talk of deeply held thoughts, feign rudeness. We  never lose sight of the closeness we hold in the palm of our being or the tenderness that only true friendship and love can sustain.
