Welcome

I was looking for something in a summer of nothingness. Wondering as I wandered briefly touching down long enough for a bitter aftertaste of mindless and pointless regret for killing time and hope for ever afterness. I never sought a naked encounter with a mattress or a hallway of wanton sex. What I looked for was a welcome to reality and a life I could feel consoled in the comfort of fresh fare. Being real doesn't need frilled edges or harsh lashings it is a lair of truth without judgments and a place of childish blushes with smiles as I ask you to dance expecting nothing and you give me a dance. Where the dance is a feeling of your heart next to mine and the heat that's exchanged is a whisper so fine. Then the coolness I find when you're so far away is the beauty of memory where reality stays. Then you return again and again with a knock on my heart it never will end.
